Das Währende ist bedürftig

Im mürben Alltag und Gedeih'n

Es erwacht des Morgens kläglich

Und schläft in der Nacht mit ein

Es wünscht sich Reichtum und Fülle

Sein eigentliches und essentielles Erbe

Statt Ungeduld, Unwerte und Unlust

Statt noch einer weiteren Kerbe

Es währt, aber ja ohne das Wahre

Es verwahrt dieses universale Sein

Es möchte geliebt und erkannt

Um Gottes Willen doch sein

In dem blinden Tohuwabohu

Im Chaos dieser ganzen Gefühle

In der Schwere allen Aufstiegs

In menschlichster Schwüle

Währendes wahre und weiter 

Bewähre und bewahrheite Dich

Bringe Licht in all das Dunkel
